I've only started living here a couple of months, but overall the experience has been decent. It's fairly quiet aside from the occasional barking from the neighboring dogs. The side stairs creek (both sides) and there is quite a bit of echo in the hallways. The echo in the hallways isn't normally all that noticeable until you're actually walking in it.
Maintenance was fairly quick on the fixes when I first moved in. No additional maintenance requests have been put in since I moved in.
The microwave is an annoyance. It plays 3 long beeps (3 secs each) and there is no way to stop it from beeping even if you open the door on the first beep. This is negligible since this is a generalized preference on kitchen appliances.
The door locks are difficult to open. If you push the key all the way in, the lock will not turn. You have to push the key in and slightly nudge the key back out to get the lock to turn.
The lights are really dim in the bedroom, laundry space, living room area, and bathroom. I wish there was a light directly over the shower space so it can be brighter when taking a shower. The other places I've lived has had this. The light switch for the living room space is placed in the kitchen area making it very awkward to switch on and off.
There are a few inconveniences here and there, but nothing glaringly problematic. I would say that my current living experience has been decent so far.

We have really enjoyed our time at the Flats and Cedar Grove. Its a great location with phenomenal staff. Weve felt safe, valued, and taken care of since we moved in. Our only complaint is that the location is pretty noisey (can hear our upstairs neighbors and people in the hallway quite a bit) but all in all a nice apartment.
