I've lived here for several years. Yes, the rent goes up mercilessly each year, but the property has some nice features like a gym, pool, Amazon lockers, and garages. The location works well for me and neighbors are generally decent to one another. The parking is challenging, really challenging, if your family has more than one car, but I'm not sure what can be done about that. People used to be able to at least park briefly next door in the shopping center parking lot and walk through the gateway separating the property from the retail outlets, but they boarded that up to keep the homeless out a couple of years ago. My chief complaint is all the various apps and websites you are required to log into to get things done. There's not one place to go to do everything, and management doesn't really seem to update any of them themselves. Maintenance is great until they are backlogged, then you really have to push to get anything fixed, or even figure out what the delay is. I don't blame them, but the various processes required to keep the place running don't seem to be linked up, and as a resident, I can't help but feel sometimes that they don't care. It reads like a lack of transparency and communication both between departments, and between management and residents. I'm sure there is a solution, but that's not my business. It's Greystar, the property management company, which needs to get their house (or apartment) in order.
