I have lived here for 6 months now. Overall, the place is a good location, nicely designed apartments, parking is perfect and the amenities look very aesthetically pleasing.
Unfortunately, this is somewhat overshadowed by the incompetence and inaction of the management.
- The pool has been closed for 7 weeks. We were initially told it was because the gate to the pool is a hazard, yet 7 weeks to fix a gate leads us to believe there is a contamination issue perhaps. Why property management would lie to its tenants about this, I will never know.
- Maintenance can be slow if issues arise, however, it is a testament to the condition of the apartments that we have had little issues during our time here.
- Staff can be non-responsive to concerns.
- The trash situation is somewhat outrageous; there are bin bags everywhere outside people's house even though we get charged for daily pick-up
- Some of the charges are a joke; they are expensive and inexplicable.
- They configured an auto-pay setup where you can give your card details and rent is automatically deducted from your account. This sounded ideal to us and so we set it up paying what was due the previous month and for it to be recurring. Then we left it for the next month, we were not notified once via e-mail or text and were subject to not only paying the increase in "sewerage" and "storm drain" fees (which I am still not sure why they were increased) but also a late payment charge of 10% of rent.
Very disappointing...
