The Wren Mercer Crossing

The property is nice but the units are very poorly built. We like the amenities that are available, but when the leasing office is doing something monthly, they put up signs in some of the elevators, but you will get an email last minute (the day of) which is how we find out there is anything going on. The biggest thing is how poorly the building is structured, all floors are hardwood (laminate) and you can hear every step or STOMP your neighbor makes. We try to be conscious of our neighbors below us but they have knocked on the ceiling just from us walking around, so, my family and I are walking around on eggshells. The parking is ridiculous if you come in after 7 or 8 pm and live on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd floor. Overall, we love the location, the look of the units, and the the staff is good (which has changed frequently since our stay here), but that's abut it. We are looking forward to the day we move out and can be free to live without the noise of the neighbors above us and having to walk on eggshells because of trying to keep the noise level down for neighbors below us.

I lived in this place for over a year now and for the most part it’s a nice environment outside the issues we been dealing with lately: 1. Parking issues: since they switched to reserved parking, it’s pretty much a nightmare if you come home late. 2. Insulation issues: this January has been one of the toughest months since the windowns and doors are not sealed so the cold air is coming in and there is nothing you can do to keep your appartment warm. My advice, if you gonna live here. Make sure to checkout the apartment you will move in to and if it’s already rented, ask the neighbors what to expect when moving here.
