Pros:
-Great neighborhood, park in front ,very safe area with lots of young families.
-Nice neighbors, friendly staffs.
-Fast maintenance. Never had vermin.
Cons:
-There aren't really amenities - Grill never works, outside furnitures are nasty, No rooftops, working zone is just a room
-Management / staffs are very unorganized.
1)NEVER received any reply email from the management. They literally never answer. I don't know if they ever see residents' emails.
2)When we moved in, they never warned us with the parking lot gate. We finished moving in around 5pm, and when we try to get out, the gate was not opening because our U-hall was not a registered vehicle. Remote control key didn't work. We waited seating in the u hall for about 2 hours for any registered car to come in or go out. Concierge and staffs leave around 4:00pm every day. U-hall costed us extra $100 overtime fee. Also holding the Elevator doesn't work. It was the worst moving-in experience.
3)As the management changed from Newport to Greystar, they're going through a lot of changes including website & app etc. They received paper check when I moved in for deposit etc because the website was down for such a long time. They launched an app and this isn't working either.
4)the walls feel slightly thicker than other new new apartments, but still you will hear music or movie if you have bad, loud neighbor, or kids or barking dog.
-Very far from the station. There used to be a shuttle service but has been with a wacky schedule because of road paving. Shuttle didn't showed up more than 3 times without any announcement. Imagine you calculated every minute in the morning time and wait for shuttle to show up about 10 minutes and it ended up not showing up -now you have to walk 25 minutes to the station. They just sent us apologizes email once. Just reschedule the time/ pickup location and announce accordingly- how hard is that? The management can be extremely incompetent.
