I moved into Ivy & Green recently and have had both positive and frustrating experiences so far. Overall, the property is visually beautiful and offers many of the amenities that attracted me to the community in the first place.
The apartments themselves are well-designed, and the common areas are clean and attractive. The gym is one of the biggest highlights for me, and I've also enjoyed the pool, rooftop spaces, and resident lounges. The building has a luxury feel, and many of the residents I've met have been friendly and welcoming.
I also want to recognize the leasing staff. Alex and the team have always been professional, courteous, and responsive when I've reached out. They have listened to my concerns and communicated respectfully, which I appreciate.
Unfortunately, there are a few issues that have negatively impacted my experience, especially considering the cost of living here. The biggest concern has been noise. I live on the third floor and have experienced frequent noise from the apartment above me, including heavy stomping and disturbances early in the morning. I understand that some noise is inevitable in apartment living, but I was surprised by the amount of sound transfer in a newer luxury building.
My second major concern is parking. I pay for a reserved parking space, yet my assigned spot has been occupied by unauthorized vehicles multiple times since I moved in. This has forced me to find alternative parking after coming home from work, and on some occasions I've had to pay for parking elsewhere despite already paying for a designated space. This has been one of the most frustrating aspects of living here.
To management's credit, they have indicated that they are taking steps to address the issue by better identifying resident parking spaces. I appreciate that effort and hope it improves the situation moving forward.
Overall, Ivy & Green has many strengths and I enjoy living here, but some stronger rules need to be enforced.
