The location is great, in close proximity to RTP, RDU and easily accessible to the surrounding cities, It Has a lovely pond that is full of wildlife, along with a greenway access. The swimming pool is 9ft, which is rare for apartments nowadays, and has a little waterfall to a smaller pool. However, the maintenance is horrific. The landscape is outdated and not cared for properly. There are unhealthy and dying trees everywhere. The ground is unlevel and has chunks of brick, gravel and glass in the dirt. The grass is patchy and the sidewalks uneven and crumbling. The property would be beautiful if it was maintained properly and it is so disappointing to not be able to use the amenities provided. The pool is always delayed to open and the wooded bridges are falling apart. Thankfully, everything was repaved recently as it definitely needed it. However, there are still places you can't even park because the landscape is so overgrown. They also did not mark all of the speed bumps, which is a huge hazard. As for the staff, I have not interacted with the new management as the former staff has made me dread contacting the office for anything. I have previously had staff enter my apartment without any notice for non-emergencies, even after specifically requesting it and it being required in my lease. I have had work orders not addressed in a timely manner or at all. There has been a major lack of communication between residents. There are often contractors on site without prior notice along with unannounced visits from maintenance, The lack of communication between staff themselves and their professionalism has has also been an issue as myself and several of my neighbors have had multiple occurrences of a staff member quoting one thing and either having another staff tell me something different, or having the same person retract their statement. I hope the change in leadership will improve things, but I have not seen much change yet.
