I've lived here for almost a year. Jasmine is amazing, I love my apartment itself. I've got two pain points that I feel I have not been heard much on & are the issue of the property. Yet they've cost me money.
When I first moved in here, the apartment decides to replace my ceiling fans. Totally fine, I like the fans. However, when the maintenance guy was here, his ladder mistakenly came down and fell on my shelving unit. This caused about $300 in damage by breaking the things I had on display. He stayed to help fix it, which I'm grateful for. However it was still an expense caused by staff that never got reimbursed.
Additionally, a glitch in the payment portal resulted in $200 in extra payments to my rent. I was unfairly charged a late fee and bounced check fee, despite having the funds in my account. Despite having KNOWN and acknowledged similar glitches with PNC Bank and other banks, I have yet to be reimbursed. I'm submitting further evidence this afternoon, hopefully that can be taken care of.
Everything else has been fantastic. I like the location and the pool. I'm just not thrilled that I keep paying for the managing companys mistakes.
And to reiterate: this is NOT jasmine and the front office. They're accomdating, quick, intelligent, and friendly. They are a blessing.
