I initially was very happy to be here and while I still love my unit itself, we’ve started to experience several issues that are snowballing to the point we will likely not be renewing our lease.
I don’t appreciate that my car was egged by another resident within my first three days of living here and when management found out, I was offered a reimbursement on a detail.
Well, I got my car detailed and once they were provided with the bill, they backed out of their initial promise to me and encouraged me to hold the offender accountable instead. I filed a police report in JANUARY and it’s now May with no repayment or even a court date yet. Extremely frustrating that they offered something and didn’t follow through when THEY could’ve charged the other resident after reimbursing me. If there was a limit on what you were willing to compensate, that should’ve been communicated.
Another issue we’re having is emails threatening to enter & inspect units due to the smell of marijuana in our hallways. Other residents have even reported maintenance workers entering their units without notice or management and searching through their belongings! Completely inappropriate. There is constantly dog poop all over the property and designated trash cans for that are always full of trash from what I assume is people cleaning out their cars. Again, for what we pay to live here, FRUSTRATING. The office management were very friendly when we first arrived but the micro-aggressions through email are a huge turn-off and honestly enough for us to look elsewhere when our lease is up.
