I’ve lived here going on 2 years now. Nothing but problems since moving in. First from the advertised “Gazebo” and “Tennis Court” we tried to locate on day one when me moved in. Next is how poorly they maintain the buildings and the appliances in them. We have submitted 64 (and counting) maintenance requests since moving in 08/2024 and these requests are not as simple as changing a lightbulb. For example, stove overheating, dryer nearly catching fire, water leaking from the ceiling causing it to collapse, windows breaking from simply sliding them shut, about 12 requests for our front door which the door doesn’t properly seal closed (since moving in), our AC unit countless times during summer because the walls are so poorly insulated it overworks the AC unit. The list goes on and on… The most recent issue is our bathtub leaking which has been an ongoing issue and we’ve brought it to the maintenance teams attention weeks ago. They simply came in and painted over the mold and sanitized the molded bathroom floor. We have also discovered a large buildup of mold behind the washer/dryer system. When my Fiancée contacted Trish the property manager she was allegedly very standoffish when my fiancée mentioned the mold around the windows, in the bathroom, behind our washer and dryer, stating that it’s mildew without even bothering to look for herself. We’re very disappointed with how Monarch handles their maintence here and I am not blaming the maintence guys because they are very kind and I can tell they want to do their jobs but their higher ups will not let them do anything other than put lipstick on a pig.
