Reviews summary
The AMO apartments are greatly appreciated for their fantastic location and friendly community, making them appealing to both long-term residents and newcomers. The property's historic charm and abundance of natural light are frequently highlighted, and recent upgrades such as new hot water pipes have been positively noted. Lashawne and Mr. Earl, part of the on-site staff, are particularly praised for their exceptional assistance and responsiveness. However, some concerns have been raised regarding parking difficulties, especially during events, and noise levels due to thin walls. Residents appreciate the pet-friendly policy and the presence of amenities such as a bike room. The building's quiet and safe environment has been noted, and while parking remains a challenge, its availability has improved over time.

Resident as of June and I am extremely happy with the location and the staff. The property manager, La’ Shawne communicates very well with planned maitnence and does truly care about building a safe, happy community for the tennants. Mr. Earl, the maintence supervisor is an absolute joy and seems to work 24/7. It is an old building so not everything is perfect but that is part of the charm. Since i have moved in, all plumbing is being replaced, there is a new entry system, and updated laundry services. There is a beautiful garden next to the building that is calm, and relaxing. The parking is a big issue as there is not a resident lot and we only have a single zone for parking. A zone extension to include the other side of the street and beyond John R would make a huge difference. There is no air conditioning and I had to use two A/C window units to stay cool in the summer. The heating is all radiator controled ans sonce it has been turned on varies as sometimes it blasts making my aprtment feel like 85-90 degrees and other times a bit cool, hopefully that will be adjusted. Shower and bathroom sink water pressure are fairly weak and inconsistent and i have to run my shower for at least 5 minutes for hot water to make it to the fifth floor. As repairs continue hopefully this will change. Overall, very happy with the building but there is room for improvement to update temp control and consistent water to equal other buildings in the area.
