The Cove

The units themselves are beautiful and well kept but as soon as you walk into the hallway there are giant, very noticeable stains everywhere on the carpet and the elevators/stairwells smell musty and unpleasant. I'd be a little embarrassed to invite someone over given how filthy the common areas are. The carpet in these spaces is commercial carpet which means it likely can easily be pulled up in modular sections and cleaned or replaced but that doesn't seem like something The Cove is on top of doing. Really disappointing given how expensive this building is to live in. Additionally, the package handling is very questionable. I never get alerts from the building when a package has arrived for me and they're all just left out on a table that anyone can access instead of being put in the password protected package cabinet system in the mail room. Other than those two things, everything else is as expected.

I love living here for the convienience to everything. I am 20 minutes from work. It is quiet and my fiance and I love to go for walks around the cove. We love the gym and love the little freebies that the Cove offers every month. I wish the coffee station would be stocked with tea more and I wish that they had events where people who go to work can still attend. Sometimes the times are in the middle of the day and we are left out on all the free food.

Great location but the longer I am here at the cove, the more issues I find. For instance there is a car outside with two flat tires and all the windows are down in the rain, clearly no one cares about that rule. There is frequently trash around the grounds of the property which doesn’t scream “luxury”. The landscape and construction crews are not supposed to start work until 7 am and they woke me up at 5 am. I also have found that the pictures online are a bit of a false promise of what is actually here. Also the staff and landscaping crew walk around without masks on and they clearly do not care about social distancing. On the surface this place looks great but there are definitely some issues.
