Former Resident

Union House Review
After about 2 years of staying here, I have finally decided that I have had enough. The management staff do not care about their residents. The garage and other property amenities are constantly broken. And to make matters worse, they only care about increasing revenue for their corporate office.
I say this because after meeting with management to discuss the $400 increase to my monthly rent, I tried to negotiate only a $200 increase, which is still insane in this current economy. But after denying my request and suggesting that the only option is that I move to a smaller unit, they then proceeded to list my current unit for the price I wanted to negotiate (the $200 increase versus the $400 increase).
I’ve decided to just reapply for my current unit, and then I got ghosted for about a week, during which time I decided that I should just take my money elsewhere because clearly, my tenure here, in which I pay rent a month in advance, means nothing to them.
The property management does not care about its tenants. They only care about the money you give them. I also filed multiple noise complaints to stop the kids from running up and down the hallways and stopping my upstairs neighbors from jumping and throwing various parties, but the management wanted me to prove that the noise was a disturbance, which to me is absurd. Furthermore, we constantly have homeless people and intruders who camp out in the garage and hallways due to the garage doors constantly being open. There’s also constant dog poop and pee near the elevators and in the hallways.
All I can say for future residents who do move here is: do not get your hopes up. This is a property that wants to charge Boston rent in Framingham.
