Ive been in a unit near Cicero and Diversey for 10 years this month and am overall happy. The unit is fairly nice. Keeping up with cleaning is fairly easy as the kitchen/bedroom/frontroom are all good sized and open. The bathroom is small and the shower is also small, but has glass doors. My biggest complaint is the shower water pressure which has always been low. Ive never formally complained as the other plumbing/sinks work fine and the water still gets warm/hot enough to shower. The floors are wooden throughout the unit except for tile in the bathroom. Also Im confused about laundry becuase I think I was told there was onsite laundry and Im aware of a room on the bottom floorwith a couple washers/dryers, but they seem to be disconnected........ Its easily made up for as there is a laundrymat directly footsteps away across the street.
Outside/location/amenities is wonderful. I can walk to take care of my bills, see my doctor, do my laundry, grocery shopping, everything I need with in walking distance... Diversey is a main thoroughfare and the bus route is steps away from my door, the blue line isnt very far and that gets you anywhere in the city overall. Ive got fast food choices, good mexican food a walmart, 2 aldis cellphone places, plenty of other good food choices, my doctor is steps away om my block. There isnt one thing to complain about as far as location goes. Walgreens/CVS just everything... Dunkin, Starbucks... Whatever you want all walkable down diversey all within a few blocks.
I gotta be honest, I see alot of negative reviews and I guess to each their own, but for the most part my experience has been decent so far.
