First, the management are top-tier liars. They tell you all kinds of things before you sign the lease, and then once you move in, or even try to move in, you never get a call back. When we tried to get a tour we called at least 20 times with no response. Every time I go to the leasing office, I am treated like a nuisance. Either no one is there, or management is too busy playing Minesweeper to help residents.
Now they are making guests pay for parking, just another obvious money grab. They get rid of anything that costs them money. They advertised a heated pool, which is now suddenly a “cold plunge.” They turned the bowling alley into office space, and at this point I would not be surprised if they remove the pool next. They took away all the pool sticks and balls so no one can play. They locked the coffee maker so it cannot be used outside of office hours. The sauna is also only open during office hours, when most residents are at work and cannot use it. Everything that I was advertised is either gone or severely limited.
It looks like a great place from the outside, but once you actually live here, everything is already breaking. The walls have humidity damage, the elevators do not work half the time, and the trash room is disgusting. They claim you have to recycle, but when you go down there, there is no recycling available at all.
The storefronts and lobby that Altis owns have had ongoing sewage problems, and instead of fixing them, they pump a disgusting overly sweet scent into the lobby and shops to cover it up. Next time you are in one of them, look up at the doorway and will see a scent diffuser, especially at Planet Smoothie. Long story short, this place is a complete mess. I would not move here again.
