Wilmark Apartments

I really like the apartment - recent remodel, wood floors, stone tiling in kitchen and bathroom, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances..all great! The maintenance staff and property manager are very responsive and requests are handled quickly. The problems are really with the building itself. It has radiated heat, but residents cannot control the heat independently in their apartments. The heat is either on or off for the whole building and it's erratic - we've had very cold nights when the heat never turned on and pleasant days when the heat was pouring out of the radiators. Also, the wood flooring looks nice, but there is no insulation between the floors in the building, so you hear every creak, every step, every door opening and closing, and much of what people are saying in the apartments above and below you. It can be very distracting and interrupt sleep. Be aware of this if you decide to move in. I do give kudos to Cornerstone...they do a great job. Too bad the building owner hasn't committed to changing the heat situation and doing something about the noise problems.
