5 stars for management and staff, condition of apartment and low-key community feeling of the complex. We became aware of the townhouse (apartment we now occupy) through a friend who used to live in this complex. We contacted management who showed us the place, helped us through the application process and facilitated every detail (on their end) up to and beyond our move-in date. On move-in, the condition of the apartment was thoroughly clean and necessary repairs (from the previous tenants) had been completed. Management, staff and onsite maintanence people are always available, attentive, personable and professional. If we have a question or a need, we always get a speedy response. Disregard negative reviews from a few years ago, when the property was under different ownership. Under the new (and current) owners, things are apparently quite different. We are really happy here, glad we found the place, and appreciative of having a landlord and staff who really care.

I've lived here about 4 years now, and in that time I've seen the complex change hands between several owners. Rents have gone up over the years, of course, but for once I feel like the management is dedicated to making it an enjoyable place to live - worth the money. And I looove that it is so close to downtown. They've re-done my wood deck so it's all nice, smooth wood and looks really clean. The old fading light bulbs in all the sidewalk light poles were recently replaced and now it's so well lit and safe. I like being able to park in the protected gated area as well. The team at the front office (shout out to angelique and billy on the weekends!) has had more maintenance people lately so my recent work requests have been handled much more quickly than in the past. I recently heard they are revamping the clubhouse as well - it looks like it's gonna be really really nice! Definitely starting to feel like a really nice, legit complex now.

My experience with The Overlook staff has been extremely pleasant, even though I am not a resident at this complex, they were VERY helpful and understanding with my situation. I spoke with Billy originally, and he was very informative, personable and very knowledgeable about the area, the complex and the individual apartments. He answered all my questions and was so helpful! Secondly, I spoke briefly with Virginia"Ginny", and she was so understanding and was able to accommodate my unique request to the best of per ability. She also was very helpful and expressed genuine gratitude. I have no negative information to report regarding the staff at Overlook.
