I've lived at the Vista for almost 13 months and it has been generally positive. The building itself is rather nice, with decent amenities. The common areas are cleaned meticulously by a dedicated family of cleaners, which is much appreciated. Cornerstone is very responsive and timely in their repairs, and generally very patient with complaints. The lobby is pretty nice, and package delivery and receipt is a reliable breeze.
Every property has its quirks, as does this one. The fitness room is illogically organized and cluttered, with outdated equipment. The carpet in their is weird! The rooftop deck has been in a state of decay since I moved in, with furniture slowly falling apart, and the "no-smoking" policy is not strictly enforced up there. It seems like improvements are on the way, but that's been the promise since I moved in a year ago. They haven't replaced any of the broken furniture, which has sometimes lingered up there for months. My final gripe is the laundry machines: while there are usually enough to get the job done, a few machines regularly break or eat money, and a couple of the dryers don't dry well. Sometimes the machines are fixed but it's hard to know if they're better at drying or just operating again.
Those aside, the apartment is very nice. The apartment are small but sturdy, the noise level in my apartment is very manageable compared to other building I've lived in. Leasing and maintenance requests are easy using the app or online portal, and the company is quite friendly. I'm happy to be re-upping my lease for another year.
