The Lumineer Apartments

I enjoyed my time at the Lumineer. Aside from not initially being assigned a parking spot, it's been smooth sailing. The space is just a little small for the price, especially considering my renewal offer raising my rent by $100.

Apartments are nice, everything but the oven/stove have been giving us issues. 1/4 stove burners work, the other three and the oven when used trip the breaker and the stove to turn completely off and its still not fixed. Maintenance is very nice but is taking forever for maintenance to have come out to review the problem.

We moved into our apartment Saturday, May 27th, 2023 and it was Memorial Day weekend. When we got to the apartment at move-in, the A/C in our apartment did not work. It was 90 degrees the entire weekend we moved in and into the next week. Although we realize this was a holiday weekend and that the offices are closed, we still attempted to make an emergency maintenance request, as we and our cat were overheating. We were told that they would try to put in a maintenance request, but because it was only our A/C and not our heat, there was more than likely nothing that could be done. We then proceeded to call and were actually able to speak to a real person to schedule a maintenance request, were told that we needed to submit one online. We then waited another week until someone showed up on June 7th, making it approximately 12 days after we had moved in. The lowest temperature we were able to get our apartment cooled down to, including fans and leaving windows/doors cracked all night, was 83 degrees. I also do not believe that the street parking surrounding the complex has been well-researched. Before signing our lease we specifically asked if the street parking was free, to which we were told yes. When we got here we were made aware that the street parking is indeed not free and there wasn't very much of it. We were informed by city officials that we needed to pay for a permit to park on the street. Although these are things that can be fixed, two people should not have to wait a week to have someone come fix the A/C that should have been checked and working before move-in.I also believe that if people have to either pay for a street parking permit or pay $100 per month for the smallest and most limited amount of garage spots, the price per month should at the least be lowered. This isn't including the fact that there are not even enough garage parking spots to accommodate each unit in the complex.
