the area is great. it's close to grocery stores, restaurants, close to freeways, gas station.. everywhere you need to go, you can walk to. plus there's a park right across the street. The apartment is overpriced, the units are bigger relative to surrounding apartments but it doesn't justify the premium rent. Also, be prepared to not be able to reach the office. If NOT being able to reach the managers when you have simple questions, by phone call, this is the right place for you. you can email them and wait a day for a response. Also, for a large complex, there is only ONE elevator and it breaks quite frequently. so if a consistently working elevator is not important to you, then your search is over.
And the worst part of our experience is the upstairs neighbors. I don't know if I can say exactly what unit, so just be warned if you're looking at any of the units below the 4th level. In the year that we have been living here, we've lost countless hours of sleep, our mental health have suffered, our dog developed anxiety.. all because our upstairs neighbor has no regard for people living under them. they vacuum their floor at late hours of the night, they seemingly rearrange furniture every 2 days or so, they don't walk, they stomp all around their apartment... and these are just some of the things that they do. If peace of mind is not important to you, you've hit the jackpot.
but I understand that our experience may differ from yours so if you are looking at this place, just make sure to ask questions and
some of the redeeming aspects of this apartment;
-the maintenance staff. Maria is great, friendly, and she keeps the grounds clean. David, the repair/handyman is prompt and courteous ALWAYS. I never had an issue when dealing with repairs.
-the chargers for EVs is clutch--so if you drive an EV or a PHEV, that's huge.
-my immediate neighbors (same floor as I am) are the best.
Good luck with your search
