1400 FIG Apartments

I've been living here for the past 2 years and have loved it from the start, however, the leasing managers have changed as well as types of residents. Leasing managers Molly and Naz were always available with a text line and friendly. They would welcome you and greet your dog everytime you walked in. Announcements were frequent and messages were responded to in a timely manner. They are now gone and new staff are rarely in their office and not as friendly or welcoming. Residents of old were clean, quiet, and friendly. Unfortunately, new residents are loud, messy, and so much so inconsiderate that they had to remove guest parking as a commodity since so many residents were parking in others' paid parking spots. The apartment is pet friendly and overall clean. Maintenance and cleaning staff are excellent. Security is great now, too - wasn't to start but they have improved. More cameras were installed and a new security system. Noise is surprisingly quiet than expected as for living in downtown aside from the occasional helicopters and sirens. Residents are the only noise issue as walls are thin and can here upstairs neighbors loud foot steps, the sounds heavy objects constantly falling, music past curfew, or arguing - may be just my upstairs neighbors. Overall, a great location that is affordable and pet friendly but decreasing in quality over time.

I've been living here for more than a year and decided to upgrade my unit within the building as opposed to moving to a different complex. While the leasing office may be hard to get a hold of as they are very busy, they are friendly to all and will give you your full attention and service when needed. The units and amenities are cleaned on a daily basis. The rates are competitive and lower than surrounding apartments that allow pets. You are also guaranteed a parking spot unlike other buildings who are filled and have you pay for external monthly parking. Location is also amazing as you are across the Convention Center and near LA Live and Crypto Arena for great events and food. Overall, excellent experience and offer that is hard to beat.
