Sutton Place

Love the neighborhood and the view of the city from the rooftop sundeck. The property is very nice and has a lot of potential. However, my experiences living at Sutton Place have been mixed and somewhat disappointing. The managers are nice, but sometimes there is little communication, or follow up, when issues are reported in-person or online. One or both of the elevators are sometimes down for days or weeks at a time. Multiple washers & dryers are often down on every floor for days or weeks (the laundry rooms are currently being painted, so many machines have been offline for multiple weeks). The refrigerator in my unit stopped working about 2 weeks after I moved in earlier this year - and despite my objections, the appliance was not fixed, or replaced with a similar stainless steel unit. But instead, the refrigerator replacement was a different brand, in a different color, and with permanent smudges and scratches all over the front of the appliance (it's just shocking that this is acceptable!). Also, presented pictures of scratches to hardwood floor in the living room/dining room area that occurred during the removal/installment of the refrigerator to the Property Manager in-person and via email. Still have yet to receive any response or acknowledgement!
