Parc Pointe Apartments

I have leased this apartment since 2015. I paid my rent every month during the pandemic yet management has NEVER made any basic upgrades to my apartment. However, rent keeps going up. Why? In this economy the unit is barely worth the value paid. This is disappointing and disgraceful. If the rent is going up management could at the very least remove the mold and or mildew from my bathroom, paint, professionally clean the carpet.

I have been living here for the past 2 years and 4 months. The community offers excellent amenities, including a swimming pool, spa, and gym, and is very convenient to grocery stores, healthcare, and other essentials such as bus services and petrol stations. The only challenge is the frequent, continuous noise, as the apartment is located on Burbank Airport Road and close to the fire station.

The maintenance staff is friendly and the location is great, which are the main positives. Unfortunately, there are several ongoing issues that outweigh those benefits. The building itself is old and outdated, and management seems to rely on low-quality materials that require constant repairs. As a result, there is frequent construction happening throughout the property. For example, I have lived here for a couple of years, and my balcony closet door has already been replaced three times because the cheap wood warps whenever it rains. Another major concern is how often staff enter units. They come in every couple of months, whether you are home or not, which feels excessive and intrusive. I do not know anyone else in a large building who deals with this level of disruption. The balcony situation is also frustrating. Many balconies are covered with unattractive plastic because the floors were deteriorating and needed to be changed, the plastic blocks your outside view entirely. Mine has been inaccessible for over four months, and maintenance has entered my unit six times to work on it with no resolution. Additionally, amenities are not being maintained as advertised. The sauna has been broken for over six months. The building has noticeably declined. Many units are now vacant, and several of my neighbors have moved out in recent months. Overall, this property feels like it is on a downward trend and has a lot of wasted potential.
