PineCrest Townhomes

I really like Pinecrest Townhomes overall—the location is great and convenient, and the community feels nice. The staff is super friendly and helpful, which makes living here a positive experience. I do recommend this place for those reasons. However, there are a few things I wish were better. One ongoing issue is dealing with gnats and ants. Pest control explained that it’s because of the dampness outside and the trees, but it’s still frustrating to fight them constantly. Another concern is the walls—there are water spots in the bathroom from washing our hands, and I’d love to know the type and color of paint they use so we can touch up when needed. The biggest drawback for me is the cost. Rent goes up every year, and paying over $2,100 a month is steep, especially when utilities like gas, water, and electricity add another $300+ monthly. It would be great if there were more effort to keep pricing stable for long-term residents. Overall, Pinecrest is a good place to live with a great location and friendly staff, but I hope they address pest issues and consider more reasonable rent increases.

The community is great, we love Dorice! My kids love the summer pool parties. The location is great, love all the shopping centers around and schools being close enough for my kid to just walk across the street. The only downfall for us personally is a close neighbor, personally targeting my kids and i. Constant screams and pounding when ever they drink. Cops called for DV, flashing lights right out our bedroom window in the middle of the night for 3 hours. Other than that i enjoy it here.

Living at Pinecrest Townhomes for the past 4 years has been great for the most part. Dorice the Manager is great and is always there for questions and inquiries and is super sweet. The maintenance is awesome they are usually here within 24 hrs and we had an emergency and they were here quick! It has been quiet for the most part but the company that owns the Townhomes bought the land right next to us and they are building apartments and it has been very noisy and they start before the Olathe City quiet hours half the time. We were kind of a bedroom community but I don’t think it will be like that anymore.

We have lived at PineCrest Townhomes since the beginning of Feb 2018. We have had little to no issues with Residents or PineCrest. The Manager, Dorice, is wonderful to deal with and is very understanding and just a really sweet person. The only thing that I wish we had was more windows. We live in a four plex, as they all are and we are in one of the middle units so we only have the little rainbow window in the front door and the slider on the back door on the first floor, the second a double window in each bedroom. We personally like to have more natural light but have made it work. We also have a nice semi private patio in the back which is really nice and a good size. The location is very close to a lot of convenience stores ie grocery, shopping and many other types of stores. Overall, it i a really great place to live!
