It's over priced when you compare what you pay to what you get and some of the residents are rude when it comes to the laundry rooms

Trace Townhomes is a nice functional townhouse apartment complex. The unit is simple and not the most modern (but it does have stainless appliances in the kitchen) but everything in my unit is functional and clean. No pests or vermin in my building at all. At 970 sq. ft, the bathroom is a bit small but it seems Denver area apartments are small in general compared to some other cities.
For best experience, I highly recommend getting a unit that faces the pretty and quiet courtyard. The courtyard has rabbits and two gas grills and two picnic tables. You will have a lovely view and enjoy stepping out your door.
The neighbors are nice people but sometimes leave their laundry in the machines too long even though the app tells you when the loads are done. Otherwise they are cool and keep to themselves but are friendly. We are mostly families and couples in our 30s and older.
The location of Wheat Ridge is outstanding. Multiple groceries, 38 bus line on our block, I-70 highway, an outdoor mall, a great vet (West Denver Veterinary Hospital), a killer recreational center, decent Indian food, and a homey diner are all nearby. Plus the Lutheran Hospital is nearby, as are many parks, and Costco too.
The office staff are awesome. Maintenance staff are so friendly and take care of business. And I'm especially impressed with Caleb, the Community Manager. There was a big improvement in communication, and improvements to the grounds since he has been in charge. He is highly responsive and very professional. He also made good hamburgers at the resident event.
We were happy to renew our lease and enjoy living here.
