Expect annual rent increases between 5-10%. Landlord refuses to discuss or negotiate. Offers concessions in the winter months to lock in tenants with short term leases that expire in the summer, and then increases the rent significantly.
After living here for 3 years the property management company changed twice and we have had at least half a dozen individual managers. Communication is inconsistent and staffing appears to be an ongoing issue.
Maintenance requests can stay open for at least a month and requires numerous follow ups for resolution.
At this particular building keys to individual apartments went missing. I don't have the details on the missing keys, but I assume this created an urgent safety issue if master keys could not be located. Property manager communicated a need to change locks and then took over a week to implement the change.
As a pet friendly apartment expect no consideration for the types of dogs allowed to live in the building. Barking persists throughout the day. Some dogs are left unsupervised on the balconies and will bark and howl at passersby.
If you choose to rent hear pay close attention to your rent statements. Any changes may not take effect immediately and require months of follow up with property management to resolve.
This place has a great view, but the large windows and patio make it difficult to cool in the summer and heat in the winter.
