Starboard Apartments

I have lived here for 6 months and overall I like everything about the apartment. My only complaint is the noise generated by the people above. The floor is not insulated and any noise made by people walking or running, things falling, and floorboards squeaking all sound loudly in my apartment.

The onsite staff at Starboard Apartments are truly exceptional and deserve commendation for their professionalism and dedication. They are friendly, responsive, and always willing to assist residents. However, my experience with the management, specifically Janine Brown has been highly disappointing. Despite numerous attempts to address maintenance issues, they have consistently refused to approve any necessary work. Instead, I have been told to either handle the repairs myself or consider moving out, as they have no intention of resolving the issues. This lack of responsiveness and unwillingness to fulfill basic maintenance obligations is unacceptable. When renting an apartment, it is reasonable to expect that necessary repairs will be promptly addressed. Unfortunately, the management's conduct has fallen far short of professional standards. They rarely respond to emails or phone calls, making communication and issue resolution nearly impossible.
