The Timbers

I have lived here for 13 years, I always liked the staff, they work very hard to make this a nice place to live but they are beholden to the corporate owners who sometimes take a hard line on things that should be considered on a case by case basis. I had ratty carpets after living there for 8 years and when I approached them to replace them they attempted to charge me to accomplish this even though after so many years it needed to be done due to normal wear and tear. It took many emails and me finding the city code that was relevant to get them to agree to do this. It soured me bit on how they operate at the corporate level. I have also had some very disruptive neighbors over the years. One who did everything he could to intimidate me and harass me to the point to where I felt it necessary to get an anti-harassment order against. Another neighbor, more recently and coincidentally, decided that due to our dogs not getting along and having an altercation where his dog was scratched, reported my dog to animal control and as a result is now attempting to take pictures and video of my dog /and myself every time he sees us on property. It has become a situation I can no longer abide, and we are moving as a result. It is a shame because I have so many GREAT neighbors who I consider to be friends over the years and I will miss seeing them, and their families. I can;t stress enough though how responsive the staff is to any maintenance request or just to talk to, they are great and do seem to actually care to make this a good place to live!
