The Marina at Martha Lake

I've lived at the Marina at Martha Lake for a while now, and while the location and safety of the community are definite positives, there are some significant downsides that need to be addressed. First, the property management leaves a lot to be desired. The property manager is often unresponsive and unhelpful, which makes it frustrating when you have issues that need quick resolution. Simple requests can take far too long to be addressed, and communication is generally poor. Parking is another major issue. Even with paid parking, the lot is cramped, and finding a space, especially in the evenings, can feel like a daily battle. It's incredibly inconvenient, especially when you have guests or are coming home late from work. Additionally, many of the appliances in the apartments are outdated and prone to breaking. Maintenance requests for these items also seem to take longer than they should to be resolved. It's disappointing to pay rent at this price point and constantly deal with malfunctioning appliances that clearly need an upgrade. That said, the community itself feels relatively safe, which is a big plus. The surrounding neighborhood is calm, and the area has a sense of security that is comforting. Plus, the location is fantastic—close to shopping, dining, and other amenities, which makes it easy to get around and access what you need without traveling far. In summary, while the Marina at Martha Lake has some appealing aspects like its safety and prime location, the poor management, parking difficulties, and outdated appliances make it a frustrating place to live.
