I am in my second year here and have only enjoyed my experiences. Online technical difficulties are relatively easy to navigate, the apartments are nice, and they have good walls so there is no major noise.

Madison Village is our preferred place to live. When we relocated from Indiana to Virginia, we explored Winchester for housing options. Madison Village was the first on our online search list, and upon visiting in person, my wife was so impressed that she immediately wanted to sign the lease. The unit is luxurious, equipped with new amenities, and the maintenance, staff, and swimming pool are exceptional.

We love our unit, it is beautiful and well-appointed, and the price is right for the area... the property is very well-kept and clean... but the property manager is rude, combative, and just entirely unpleasant to deal with. There are many extremely frustrating aspects of living here: smoking or even vaping from your balcony is prohibited, guests are charged $5 to come to the TINY pool with no hot tub or other amenities and limited furniture, requiring that maintenance enter your apartment at the beginning of every month to read the unit's water meter, which is located in a locked storage closet on the balcony (I have never lived in an apartment where the water meters weren't outside on the ground floor), and--this may seem minor, but trust me, it is maddening--the elevators in the buildings take a minute and 30 seconds to travel three floors. The mailboxes are inconveniently placed, and there is not a dumpster for each building. Are we happy we chose to live here? Yes. Are there some highly frustrating things we encounter on a daily basis? Yes. Overall, nice place. Just be prepared for some irritation.

Madison Village is a nice gem here in Winchester. Sometimes it's boring here but you can find nice communities like this one if you look hard enough. The apartments are nice and maintenence is usually very quick if anything goes wrong. You're allowed to have animals, which is a plus. All in all, cozy and affordable!
