We are not full time residents, but we love the floor plan. The bathrooms are roo.y and well laid out. The kitchen is small but workable. The bedrooms are on the small side, but the living area is great

When I first moved in, the apartment appeared old but was at least in good condition. As 5 years have passed, it's becoming increasingly clear that the quality of the building itself was never good from the start. You can feel that the floors are now uneven between the joists and are extremely loud to walk on. The upstairs neighbors constantly sound like they are about to come through the ceiling. At first I thought they were just loud but I spoke with my neighbor below and he said the same about us, even though we never run and always walk as quietly as possible. Every wall has cracks spreading in all corners and all the residents on our floor have complained about the molding and leaking windows. The ventilation between residents is poor and when it's cold out, we can smell the weed and cigarettes (and unfortunately BO at times) from neighbors through our bathroom ventilation and laundry dryer vent. We have been month to month for some time now (hoping to eventually be able to afford to get out) but rent keeps increasing with no improvement whatsoever. We have friends who are in apartments less than 4 years old that pay the same, or less for much nicer apartments in comparable neighborhoods. If it wasn't such a hassle, we would have been out much sooner but it's not worth moving to another apartment when the goal is to buy a place soon. The staff is overall pleasant and I have no complaints about them in particular. I'm sure it's the management company who keeps raising rates. The rent increases do not seem fair for the quality of the product though. I am not a public reviewer of business but I would definitely not recommend this complex to anyone unless you are getting a renovated apartment. Then, it could be worth the $2k/month price if that was the case.
