Update: On 11/13/24 I placed 3 work orders. On 11/13/24 my apartment was entered by what appears to be a maintenance man. He went directly to the kitchen smelled the stove area and left. He then returned with a ladder and went further into my apartment into rooms where I did not have a work order placed. I saw all of this on my camera. When I got home from work, I smelled gas and reviewed my camera footage. I called the leasing office and was told maintenance was on the way. I called 2 gas companies and placed a complaints. No reports were on file. Nothing had been reported. A second maintenance worker came. Instead of going directly to my apartment to check the leak he was standing outside chatting up a woman. When he did go to my apartment, after i approached him, he had zero tools and said he did not smell any gas. After he left the gas company employee arrived. He did smell gas. He found gas entering my apartment from the floor under my stove. He went downstairs and addressed the issue. I have not received any follow-up from the leasing office. When the maintenance men came back later in the week to fix the 3 initial repairs. They fixed the dryer and the toilet. They did not repair my kitchen sink and somehow broke my washing machine. It has been over a week. Everything about this situation is unacceptable, gas leaks are dangerous and people could have died. Today is 11/21/24 and nobody from the leasing office has followed up about the gas leak i reported or the repairs that have yet to be completed. 12/10/24 My kitchen sink now has standing water in it which I spent Thanksgiving dumping into the toilet because the repair I requested be done on 11/13/24. for the first time has not been repaired at all. The sink has not drained properly and the garbage disposal does not work. As a single person with zero kids I barely use my kitchen. Washing machine does not work since they repaired my dryer on 11/16/24.
