I would strongly discourage anyone from leasing at Artesia at Medina Valley.
During my tenancy, I experienced repeated maintenance and management issues that made living here far more stressful than it should have been. Despite paying rent on time, I dealt with ongoing problems that were not addressed in a timely or satisfactory manner, including persistent maintenance concerns that negatively affected my quality of life.
To make matters worse, after my lease reached its stated expiration date, management attempted to hold me responsible for additional rent based on an alleged notice requirement, even though I had personally informed the leasing office that I intended to remain only until my lease expired. Rather than working toward a reasonable resolution, the process has been unnecessarily adversarial and has required extensive documentation and repeated follow-up on my part.
Good customer service should involve clear communication, accurate recordkeeping, and reasonable efforts to resolve disputes. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
There are many apartment communities in San Antonio that value their residents and handle maintenance requests and lease issues professionally. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Artesia at Medina Valley and would encourage prospective tenants to carefully read every lease provision, keep copies of every communication, and document every interaction if they choose to rent here.
