Have lived here about a month now and as of now regret the decision. We have had problems with the A/C unit since the beginning and have been given the runaround since we reported it. We were told maintenance would come check which he did, he changed the filter and said he moved around some of the ducts and hopefully that would fix it because some of the ducts were installed improperly. I said that was fine and gave it time but it made it worse.
I reported it again and was told by the leasing office he would be here again on 6/29. He did not show up and I was patient and waited until 7/2 to follow up. I was then told that maintenance would be out that week and I would have to wait until 7/6. So I waited and just opened another ticket. 7/6 came around and nothing so I stopped by the office and spoke to Levi the office manager who assured me he would get with maintenance and call me that day with an update on what could be done. I waited and didn’t receive a call so again I was patient and went to the office again on 7/7 only to be told that Levi and the office manager were out on property but she would call me with an update today. I waited until 4pm and when they didn’t call I stopped by again only to run into the maintenance guy who seemed like he had no idea what I was stopping by for. To top it off, he had closed the new request I had submitted as resolved on 7/6 with no resolution or contact made.
When I confirmed it was for the A/C issue, he attempted to tell me this is how AC units are these days and I guess the house was just built this way and the builders wash their hands after buildout and he had no solution and could maybe schedule a vent cleaning which would probably not make a difference. I have two rooms that are freezing and one room that is hot as heck and the solution would be to place a sensor in the hot room to keep the unit on, not even acknowledging that the other two rooms would be even colder.
