Chimneys Apts.

I have been here since September 2025 it is an incredible property. I love the location, the amenities, the maintenance is great! When I put in my work orders they take care of me right away on the same day! plus the ladies in the office are wonderful! My apartment is right by the dog park so I see happy dogs, kids and owners out there it's great love it!

I initially chose the Chimneys as a single female as they 1) had a large number of positive reviews online 2) were very dog friendly 3) they had trees and 4) were in a very safe area of town. I stayed over a year and a half and never regretted my decision. There are many shops and restaurants within easy walking distance, and if you walk up the hill, there are some absolutely amazing views of the West side of the city. I also loved all of the different activities the complex put together throughout the year. Coffee, yoga, decorating competitions, dog costumes, etc. So much fun! There were only a few downsides that I experienced during my time there. The very first one was that my initial interest in the property was because I thought every apartment had a fireplace. It wasn't until it was a little too late, that I was told that only second floor units had them and I had specifically requested a first floor unit for my dog. That was a bit of a let-down. Second, there are a lot of people in the area (not necessarily just Chimneys residents) that don't pick-up after their dogs both in the apartment dog park and around the property...that's just lazy. The third letdown was that my patio not only faced a parking lot, it sat a bit lower than the parking lot so the view out my sliding glass door was typically someone else's big truck. Lastly, the apartments themselves are a bit small for the price...but I was happy to exchange that for the other perks that I listed out earlier. You just learn to become very creative regarding storage. Overall, I really enjoyed my time living at these apartments and would do it all over again if needed. I highly recommend them to anyone I talk to that's looking to move to EP.
