Terraces at Ciboolo Creek’s apartment dwellings are laid out on a spacious piece of land bordered by several farms, Cibolo Creek and one other apartment complex. There is adequate open space that provides a country like environment, yet is close to Boerne’s Main St., HEB grocery store, pharmacies, doctors, dentists, great library, a large Wal-Mart, etc. Boerne also is blessed with many churches.
Residents at Terraces are neighborly and Terraces is also pet friendly. We have a great experienced Property Manager who has been here for several years and a very good maintenance crew, overseen by an experienced regional maintenance supervisor.
Parking is ample: the only drawback being there are no covered spaces available. The grounds are generally well-kept and look wonderful when we’re getting enough rain.
Rental prices are among the most reasonable in the Boerne area, but are increased annually. Rent includes sewer and water; electricity is paid by the resident.
Probably best of all this is a quiet community!

I haven’t been here long (less than a week) but I am extremely impressed. The Terraces at Cibolo are head and shoulders above where I had been living.

The Terraces is located in a country like setting near the smallish town of Boerne. The property has been designed with numerous open spaces that are available to of the all residents for use. The gym and laundry room (if you do not own your own washer and dryer) are combined and smallish, but they are kept clean (and are usually available at most times of day and evenings. Terraces is close to churches of numerous denominations, including Catholic Christian and Protestant Christian and the little town has a family friendly feel to it. Grocery stores are within a few miles in town (HEB and Wal Mart), drug stores, health stores, and other smaller privately owned shops if you like to browse for the more unique finds from clothing and jewelry to kitchen and pet supplies. Some very excellent restaurants are in town, too. There are numerous small playgrounds along with nature parks and pools for visiting grandchildren and those who like to explore nature. A small hospital / emergency room run by Methodist is located within the city limits of Boerne along the I-10 East Frontage Rd. Many good doctors, dentists, physical therapists, labs, dialysis clinic, are all within town. There are very good vets in the area; one very good Veterinarian group being less than a mile away from Terraces. Pets are allowed with a fee. There are some pet breed restrictions which can be important for a senior community and folks who mainly have small dogs for pets, and the occasional visits from grandchildren. Being mainly a senior income restricted property, it is generally a very quiet place to live. Neighbors are generally friendly and staff are friendly and helpful. There are plenty of parking spaces but unfortunately no covered parking available, which can result in exterior sun damage to one's car very quickly, so you might want to figure in investing in a good car cover to prevent that. Overall a very amiable place to live!
