Franklin Tower Residences

Despite from the good location, the quality of the Franklin Tower Residences is beneath all expectations. The building is so badly isolated that you are kept awake from the elevator noises, people partying and the cold during winter. Even with the heating 24/7 on it often doesn't get above 60°. The electricity bill sky rockets and yet you are still in the cold as the AC cannot handle the space due to the bad construction quality. There is a serious hazard as fire alarms have gone off falsely 4 times in the last 6 months. Nobody will take it serious when an actual alarm will go off. When you ask management questions, they don't even seem to know who they are working for. "Put it on a mail" is the standard reply with zero follow-up. There has been a leak 2x in our bathroom because of the shower one level above us. Nothing has been done to fix it. "The leaking has stopped, so we can't do anything". Well yes indeed, if our neighbour stops showering, the leak indeed stops... in summary: what a shame to be paying over 3000USD a month for this service and poor quality.

don't have to worry about much living here, the fire alarm every 6 months has been the worst part. Maintenance and support staff are great (they're always working) and friendly. Had an issue with a leak in my apartment ceiling, which was promptly taken care of.

Management is rarely helpful, parking is brutal, the fire alarm goes off at 2am once a month, there is no security at the basketball court so people just walk in, there is no heat at the gym, and the HVAC in the rooms never work properly (either scorching or frigid). On top of that, they raise rent by 10% a year...
