320 Walnut Street

The last six months have been truly miserable at 320 Walnut Street. The HVAC system is inadequate, inefficient, and completely incapable of maintaining our apartment at a habitable temperature. Over the winter, we had frequent days when the temperature in our apartment dropped below 55 degrees. (Management's response was to loan us space heaters, which do nothing to address the issue.) Now that it's approaching summer, the temperature in our apartment is consistently in the 90s. Management does little to respond and, to add insult to injury, we get to pay high utility bills due to the inefficiency of what they claim to be "high-efficiency, multi-zone heating and cooling systems." What a joke. And the elevator serving the penthouse units on the 7th floor has been out of service for two weeks, with no update on when it will be placed back into service. PMC Property Group is an unresponsive, exploitive landlord with no apparent interest in meeting the needs of their tenants.

We have lived here for 5 months after previously having an apartment in the building for two years. It is a fantastic location for taking advantage of all that Society Hill and Old City have to offer. We have an affordable apartment with great views of Philly to the south and east. It is also very convenient to have the parking on site, as my wife drives to and from Temple. Everyone in the building is very friendly; we met more people here in 5 months than we did in 2 years in a much larger building in Cambridge, MA. And having Frieda's in the building is a huge plus. Can't say enough good things about 320 Walnut Street.
