Hanover Park

I like Hanover Park in general. However, I wish they would be a little more transparent with big changes around the apartment complex. For example, they are building a brand new apartment complex in the old field next to Trabue Road. There was no advance notice leading up to that project, and many people chose to live here because of the space the field provides for their pets. I would be disappointed if I moved here with my dog only to have the field torn up without any notice. Otherwise, Hanover has been a pretty good place to live.

The apartment at first was very nice, great location, plenty of amenities and maintenance was quick to respond. That was in 2023. last year the water quality started to affect our apartment and other apartments negatively. I am not sure if it was the construction at the quarry trails or something else. There is not enough parking spaces for people who live here. Some nights we have to park outside of the complex. The walls are so thin the electric bill is worse than my parents four story house just for heat. The staff pressured us into re-signing saying the cost would be more if we waited till our lease was up.. and that wasn't true. There is cracks forming in the walls from the foundation settling (I'm assuming) with water damage on the same wall. And the worst, Birds laying nests in the drier vent and then the babies fall into the drier and burn up and die. Oh, after pooping everywhere so the fecal matter stays in the drier and is unable to be cleaned out after maintenance removes the birds. Needless to say, the place is nice until you look further and ask for a cost break. There is no mercy with the new amenity bills, especially when all of the amenities are unable to be used! The tanning bed was out of order for 8 months. The volleyball court is bulldozed. Did I mention the construction in our backyard? Its too much all at once with no warning. I don't recommend living here. Theres so many more issues I don't even have the energy to state since I am only writing this on here because I came to this website to look for the lease, to send a demand letter to get out of this horrific situation.
