I'm now going into my 2 year here and I love it. I'm close to everything from around the corner to access to downtown.

I have now lived in my apartment for about 6 or 7 months now and I love how I am within walking distance to Ludlow for entertainment and it's so quiet other than the firehouse around the corner but I completely understand that it is necessary for it.

Great office staff. Responsive and friendly. Maintenance crews keep the buildings in great shape and are quick to respond to any issues.

I moved here from an apartment down the street in July 2020. The staff here have been amazing and are incredibly transparent about everything in the building, from building maintenance to package deliveries to covid announcements, the team at Gerdsen apartments has been amazing. They also routinely update building amenities. From the time I have moved in, the building managers have upgraded the washers and dryers as well as had fiber internet installed. I am almost surprised that I only pay $725 a month for a 1 bedroom in this wonderful location.
Next, let's talk about maintenance requests. When I submit a maintenance request, someone usually gets back to me in a couple days to a week (depending on the severity) to schedule a time to fix. The process is timely and seamless! One time, I had water leaking into my bathroom (the residents above me moved out and a water pipe had a leak. Nobody knew it was leaking because no one lived there at the time) on Christmas Eve and I was able to call their emergency line and someone came within the hour to make the fix. They even came by after the holidays to repair the small damage the water made to the bathroom walls. I felt bad asking for their help around the holidays, but they said it was an emergency and they were happy to help! Everyone here is a class act.
Finally, let's talk location. I love living in Ludlow since I work at the University and can walk to work. I choose to live in Ludlow because it is much quieter than Clifton Heights (where a majority of the undergraduate students live), has access to a variety of small stores (barber, grocery, hardware, and restaurants are all close by and on the same street), and is a beautiful, old neighborhood. Going for walks to look at old houses is a highlight of my day.
So, in summary, the team at Gerdsen is great and my neighbors are friendly. I am so happy I moved here and will continue to live here until I move from Cincinnati. Thank you A. W. Gerdson Co.!
