I don't like it here because it is supposed to be a non-smoking building and people are smoking in there apartments and you can smell the cigarette smoke everywhere you go. Sometimes I gag when I get in the elevator. There are also cigarette butts all over the building. I have even found them in the stairways. Parking is an issue. We have asked for assigned parking spots or stickers to put on the cars so that we know if the person lives here. The staff is young and really doesn't understand or care about older people and there needs. The rugs need cleaning and the garbage is also an issue. They keep the front lobby very clean so that people think that it is nice here but the rest of the building needs help. I am one of the first people that moved in when it opened. When I moved in I told them that in my two bedrooms and the front room has lumps from the rug being loose and still after almost 5 years they have not fixed them. I am speaking for a lot of people here. Also there are to many very old people that should be in an assistant care facility. It is starting to smell like a convalescent home. This place is not set up for all of the amenities that wheelchairs or motorized vehicles would need.
They don't screen the people well enough. A few times we had a fire so the doors closed and you couldn't use the elevators so many people could not get out because they can't walk on there own and they couldn't get there wheelchairs out either. The only great thing about living here is that it is so convenient for shopping, and easy on off the freeway
