Amenities are great, in particular the gym but the management, pricing, and upkeep of the property remains to be desired. Management is unresponsive and consistently delays mass notifications to residents regarding issues. If you send an email or message through the resident portal, expect significant delays if any response at all. Try calling the office and no one answers but will respond to chats. I’ve found helpers from other properties to be responsive and really helpful. From upkeep, if you tour you will see the wear and tear. Some examples include: chipping along hallway walls, poor repair work, outside lighting that has been out for over a year…the door to one building had a missing handle for weeks (huge gapping hole) only to have the permanent solution not match other buildings, fixed with an ugly plate behind the handle…only callboxes on the front side are programmed to allow entry and the gates often misfunction…. Definetly not what I would consider a “luxury” property. The pricing and fees are not compeitive with somilar rentals in the are, especially due to the amount of fees charged at Hawthorne Properities. I would only recommend this place for the nice residents and perk of living right next to shopping.
