Alden Place is well-regarded for its convenient location near shopping centers, restaurants, and major universities like Duke and UNC, making it an attractive option for students and professionals. The community is praised for being friendly, safe, and quiet with well-maintained grounds and a variety of amenities, including a fitness center and swimming pools. The staff, particularly individuals like Devon, are frequently noted for their professionalism and quick response to maintenance requests. Maintenance is generally seen as prompt, though a few residents reported delays or incomplete follow-ups.
However, several reviews highlight a recurring dissatisfaction with the management, citing issues with poor communication and dismissive attitudes. Some residents have also expressed concerns over building quality, like noise from thin walls and outdated construction. Pet owners noted a lack of waste disposal options leading to cleanliness issues. Despite these concerns, the community is described as a pleasant place to live, especially for families and students, due to its quiet environment and active social atmosphere. Overall, Alden Place offers a balance of convenience and community, with some areas for potential improvement noted by residents.
