Pines at Glen Laurel Luxury Apartments

These apartments are really nice for the price and the staff have always been excellent from top to bottom. The only negative I can say is that the noise rules are very vague and some residents take heavy advantage of that fact. My building has a pronounced problem with door/cabinet slamming (like it owes them money!) and especially unruly children running, jumping, and screaming/crying starting at the crack of dawn and running well into the night. Mind you these noises come from non-adjacent units on floors BELOW me! This is especially brutal for me due to my work schedule as I often NEED to sleep until ~10am to feel rested, but that has become a rare treat as of the past few months. I'm honestly quite surprised that complete families are allowed to lease one bedroom apartments... The staff - while excelling in all other areas - don't seem very keen on risking conflict with residents and therefore it is typically an uphill battle when you try to file a reasonable noise complaint. The couple of times an offending tenant has been reached out to has only resulted in them retaliating by being purposefully more obnoxious. If you tend not to care about noise whatsoever, then honestly this place is near-perfect. If noise bothers you however, I would consider other options first.

I havent been here long. Im in the first building which is adjacent to Mescalito’s. Weekend noise level is high. Especially in Warmer weather, but only until 9pm. The highway is noisy from also, as bedroom windows face 42. Neighbors are lovely! Close to everything I need. Im retired on a fixed income so the rent is an issue to me. Perhaps wont be for someone with a better handle on their finances. I wish they recycled glass and plastic as well as cardboard and that trash was handled a little better.
