Brief review from someone who rented here for 5+ years and recently moved out due to job change, otherwise would have stayed. Try to be honest, recognize that not everything is either a 5 star or 1 star experience.
Building: Very nice amenities and common areas...gym, snack and game area, etc. Always very tidy. Pool and grill areas nice. Because of building height and central pool location, pool does not get that much daylong full sun. Seem to be more elevator downtimes than might be expected but if you are only going up/down a couple times/day not inconvenient and usually fixed quickly
Location: Close to ideal. Since moving in (and before recent flooding) number of stores/restaurants in area has increased/improved. Walking distance to 5 groceries (Whole Foods, Trader Joe, Aldi Food Lion, Harris Teeter). Nearby Staples, Dollar Tree, Coffee places and restaurants. Walkable to movie theater. Additionally shuttle bus to campus picks up at front of building. Very feasible to work/study on campus without car if willing to use occasional Uber. Relatively good proximity to greenways. I would say better located than newer apartment buildings in same area.
Maintenance: Things break/wear out, but response was always quick
Front Desk: Outstanding onsite, particularly MacKenzie. Very responsive and understanding particularly when online/offsite things are not working well. Definitely a 5* onsite person.
Price: Have not shopped around and obviously rent rose over 5 years, but seems better price than most
Apts: Only rented one unit for whole 5+ years, but good amount of space. 1BR had nice, efficient layout, high quality appliances, full size washer/dryer, nice kitchen island. Suggest skipping balcony for more indoor space
Fees: May be my only complaint. Itemized bill includes
