Glenwood Apartments

Finishing up my second year living here, shared a 4-bed with some classmates. There is not a thing that hasn’t gone wrong with our apartment. Furnace has broken 4-5 times, my bedroom has flooded at least 3 times, a different roommate’s bedroom has flooded 2 or 3 times, and we’ve awakened to find the floor of the entire apartment wet for some unknown reason (maintenance couldn’t figure out why and just left it) numerous times as well. 4 months into our first year the dishwasher flooded and we spent a week unable to access our kitchen because they were jackhammering through the floor. Drains have clogged on numerous occasions. All of this, and glenwood has not offered any sort of compensation for our trouble or any sort of rent reduction, despite the apartment being borderline unlivable at times. This is the lowest-costing place in East Lansing, but paying slightly more to avoid these problems would have been much better in hindsight. Save yourselves, go someplace else.

Parking is horrible!! Other people are parking in the parking area for residents that pay so I have to sit in my car most of the time and wait for people to leave. I also go a ticket for parking in a handicap when there was no other place to park and wen I called the management company, as always, no one answered. Also my mom paid rent on the 4th and I was charged a late fee and told it was the 5th. It is just time for me to move elsewhere.
