Before my fiancé and I signed our lease, we were promised included wifi for the duration of the lease, starting the first week of November. It’s now the third week of November, and I’m being told the included internet service won’t be available until January.
She’s a teacher and I’m a construction inspector, so we both do lots of work at home, pretty much all of which requires the internet.
When my fiancé reached out to the lease office contact, explaining the promises that were made prior to use signing our lease, their response was a simple “well you can just buy spectrum.”
The cheapest spectrum policy is $50/month, so essentially we’ve just been duped out of well over $500 over the course of our lease. No compromises or compensations were offered.
My screen door is busted, and after two work orders a couple weeks, I’m still stuck just waiting on a new part during the only time of the year where having a screen door makes sense in Florida. Ps. I love the maintenance team, I don’t put the door on them.
The “car care center” is essentially just a lie of an amenity I pay for. I went to vacuum my work truck, only to find out both vacuums are broken, and after taking my change, didn’t start. Also, there is are two hoses at the car care center, and only one of them kinda works. I put in a work order on this, simply to make sure it was known, the response on the order was “property owner is aware”… okay…. So like, you’re aware it’s broken, and you’re still advertising it as an amenity I pay the $80/month for… not cool.
