For months we had complained to the manager about their painting (they call it glazing) the bathtub did not work because the tub itself needed replacing. Finally we sent an email to the manager with photos attached. She responded rather quickly with an email stating she will not be replacing the tub and that she will send someone by. We waited another month before making a complaint to the state of Florida . Within 24 hours of the state contacting the manager and assistant manager a professional came with the head of maintenance staff to examine the tub. They determined what we had been stating for months. The tub was not good and had to be replaced. It was actually rusting out in the bottom. We should not have to have a Tetanus Shot every time we took a shower. Take a look at the photos below and see if we were being unreasonable. This incident is still better than the two months we waited for a new refrigerator after ours had failed. The manager would send head of maintenance, Nick at the time and a member of the staff to take the temperature. We lost a lot of Insulin medication that went bad because we could not keep it cold enough. They brought another cheap refrigerator that lasted a year. When the manager, Dana, started doing the same routine again after that refrigerator failed, we contacted the state. When the state contacted me and assured me they just spoke with the manager and we were getting a new refrigerator that day. 45 minutes after that maintenance was installing a new refrigerator. We should not have had to be put through these situations or had to resort to contacting the state just to obtain basic service that should have been provided.
