While I love living here, the management (msinly edgar) leaves a lot to be desired. You will have to stay on top of him via email and in-person office visits which will often result in a number of follow-ups until he actually delivers on a request. Its also quite difficult to get a hold of him as he takes a while to respond via email and is often not in office (even though he lives in the building). I understand that has many responsibilities to many different residents, but its almost feels like a second job to get a hold of him and keep him on task. It’s honestly shocking that he’s been in this position as long as he has even though he barely delivers on requests and seems to be completely unorganized.
On top of that, the incredibly expensive wifi everyone is required to pay $70/month is comepletely unreliable and goes out almost daily at this point. Due to the fact that most people work hybrid or fully remote, its completely unacceptable for the building to have a required wifi network that is almost unusable, often crashes, has a consistently unstable connection, and is commonly out. I would suggest either making the wifi network optional, partnering with a new company for better wifi for that high price, or completely removing the building-wide wifi option altogether.
Again, I really do love living at the Edison, but the above is unacceptable for what us residents pay. I urge the building owners to get this together and solve this issues, before I must consider moving elsewhere when my lease is up.
