My experience living at the Livingston has been quite good. The management (Bernstein) is excellent in maintaining the building and facilities. The location is perfect for me since I work at Walter Reed in Bethesda. In addition, I can walk 2 short blocks to the grocery store and drugstore. Starbucks is right across the street. Within less than 4 short blocks away are a movie theatre, post office, UPS, library, my dentist, nail salon, hair salon and restaurants. The tenants in the building are generally friendly and courteous. The rent is a little pricey. My studio apartment was $1300/mon when I moved in, but each year that followed saw a significant raise in the rent (In just 2 years, rent went up to $1500/mon). This is the only negative thing that I would say about the Livingston. Overall, I am very happy living here.
